World Music Band Five Ten Debuts at Iconic Catalina Jazz Club with “Indulge N World Music with Five Ten” Concert
April 13, 2022 – San Francisco, CA – Multi-talented San Francisco Bay Area-based world music band Five Tendebuts its “Indulge N World Music with Five Ten“ Concert at the Catalina Jazz Club, a hot mecca for live music located at 6725 W. Sunset Blvd in the heart of Hollywood, CA on April 23, 2022, from 8:30-10:30 pm.
Comprised of master keyboardist/Composer Steve Carter, Bass Guitarist/Composer Dennis Smith, Multi-Percussionist/Composer Marquinho Brasil, Grammy-nominated Steel Pannist Jeff Narell, and Santana and Frankie Beverly and Maze Alumnus, Drummer, Billy “Shoes” Johnson, Five Tenis a group of skilled, diverse musicians who“ organically came together as a band” in 2014. Friends first, these world music-savvy musicians, all international players with impressive individual legacies, combine their talents to create a unique soundscape that “honors world cultures”.
With their hypnotic blending of urban tunes with Caribbean vibes and Brazilian flavors peppered with spicy hints of African rhythms, Five Tendefies any genre. They liken their sound to a well-cooked meal with lots of tasty ingredients.
