A groundbreaking app has been released that allows sufferers of Osgood-Schlatter disease to treat themselves from the comfort of their own home instead of having to travel to a doctor or physical therapist.

Osgood-Schlatter disease is an overuse condition that affects the shinbone, which sits right underneath the kneecap and leads to pain and irritation for children and adolescents during growth. The new relief program was developed by well-known physiotherapists in Europe with one goal in mind: to get rid of the Osgood-Schlatter symptoms and return kids to sports again as quickly as possible.

“Osgood-Schlatter disease is one of the most common overuse symptoms in highly active young people,” said a spokesperson for the program. “All you need to alleviate pain and discomfort is some free time, a smartphone or tablet and our app. You can squeeze in training sessions any time without any training equipment. If parents are paying out of pocket, an average therapy session in the U.S. costs about $150 and a knee brace might be at least $50.”

The Osgood-Schlatter relief program is available for a one-time fee of $49 or for only $9 per month. There is no risk and a 100% money back guarantee.

The program consists of research-based video sessions with more than 40 different exercises and clear advice and information about the disease.

While the exact cause of the disease is not yet fully understood, it is known that excessive training loads, combined with a growth spurt, can lead to pain in the lower shinbone. The pain can be intense and is often felt while participating in sports while jumping, running, landing or kicking a ball. Some with a severe case of Osgood-Schlatter can feel pain simply when walking.
